Woke up to snow on the ground! I let Ash sleep and hung out downstairs with Pudge
once ready we headed again for Signal Hill.
Ironically, on the way I had called Telus as I was having trouble with data on my phone. While standing by this plaque I received a call back and had the problem solved
the full view from here was stunning but the wind chill also was…
Ash captured a perfect snowflake in my hair
we then drove down into The Battery right below the hill. It is a winding, clinging to the hill piece of town with character
All throughout the area are spots to listen to info on your cell for a walking history tour
From there we wandered shops and galleries
After stopping at a wonderful butcher shop and the local grocery we raced home to get ready for plans Ash had booked at Spirit of Newfoundland where she used to work. I may have chosen to bring other than high heels with me as it was icy and cold, but we looked good.
The space was beautiful, the food delicious and the show that followed was much fun
At the end, the Grinch even mentioned that Ashlée was in the audience with her Mom from out of Vancouver.
