11-22-22 And a pan full of prawns
I was awake before my alarm, feeling so much better. The first stop of the day was Signal Collision to drop off my car so they could polish out a previous scratch, pro bono. They have great customer service and I will always choose them. Zip drove me back to the office where I worked my tush off between network issues. Things are being upgraded in the building which is ultimately good. That is the mantra I hold. At one point my watch buzzed that my car was unlocked so I automatically grabbed my phone and used the App to lock it. A while later it buzzed again, which I thought was odd and suddenly remembered it was at Signal! I chuckled and carried on. When they called to say it was ready and Zip would come get me, I laughed at the silly autonomic response. While in the car, I told him the story and he filled me in that JD was washing the car when I locked it and the keys were inside. They had to use a slim Jim to break into it and couldn’t figure out how he’d locked the keys inside. You know we had a good laugh. The whole shop chuckled when I told poor JD what had happened. I met Devlin, who was recommended to me to paint my Willys. He said he will put together a plan and a quote. I got more than 8 hours billable time in today which may be a record this month and I still have energy which tells me I am on the mend. Woot!
Came home and defrosted some Argentinian prawns, made penne and poured over a bottle of rosé sauce. It felt so good to eat a meal. I was grateful that Sean treated with Starbucks and Cobs this morning though!
