I slept amazingly, awoke rested and enjoyed my coffees while starting to watch Ted Lasso. Jason Sudeikis is brilliant in it. He carries this character without playing it for the comedy. He is just so real in an over the top role. It is charming and I am hooked. It feels nostalgic to pick up an Apple Remote.
I met Rae-Anne at the winter market in the arena and was there for over two hours. The rest of the family showed up and I enjoyed spending the time with Sawyer especially. I was able to finish off my Christmas shopping and pick up some fun things for me as well. It was nice to run into people I know and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Next stop was home to drop everything off and then head to my Pedicure appointment. Allison really is great and she takes the best care of Throbby Bobby. I have such soft feet and pretty sparkly red nails now.
From there it was off to Arby’s to relieve a young team member so he could go be in the parade. It wasn’t very busy but just right and I did so enjoy it for the 2.5 hours I was there. It is just the right kind of social for me.
I came home and have been binging Ted Lasso and just enjoying the peace and quiet knowing I do not have to work tomorrow. It was sunny and relatively warm today and if it is decent tomorrow I will put up my Christmas yard decorations. If it isn’t, maybe Christmas cards instead. Who knows, with all the energy, maybe both!
The best start to the day was weighing in and finding I have now lost 40.6 pounds since the 2nd of January 2022. It is a huge accomplishment and I decided to put some before and current pics on Facebook. The support was overwhelming and really boosted my state of mind.
