11-30-22 A full and fulfilling day
Awoke to the knowledge that I would have to shovel my way out. It wasn’t too bad and I got to work in time to take care of my payroll obligations for the day. Finished the last file and assisted others on theirs via phone and email. My cousin Becky dropped off my new scent sachets for the Scentsy Wookiee I sleep with. Looking forward to that. I left just after 4 so I could have a asked potato at work before I started at 5. Rae-Anne trained me on taking drive Thru orders before she left and I was off to the races. It was something that I had originally asked her not to put me on as I was overwhelmed by all the options and whether my brain could process fast enough. As it turns out, I kind of rocked it. I upsold some and only got thrown when a Skip order came through there. They are supposed to go to the lobby til to pick up and it was a wow what do I do with this moment. Got through it with the great team and even decided to pick up the same shift tomorrow night. It was too funny when not once, but twice, girlfriends came through and we had a good laugh as it was not where they expected me to be. The only downside, sort of was that I had to shovel a lot at the end of my day, meaning I didn’t get in for something to eat and a rest until nearly 10:30. I am not going to go in early tomorrow though so I will be fine. All in all a good day.
Silly deer pushed over the fence again and were here looking at me as I was clearing the sidewalk. I thought I took a good picture but it was a little trippy as I was walking toward them, shooing them out. They were not the least bothered by me, and a lot bigger as well
