11-07-23 Couch Testing
I was excited to wake up early and jumped on the treadmill for the first time in a long time. I was so rejuvenated. I had to stop at Safeway to order a cake for our volunteer party and grabbed some delicious green grapes for breakfast. I was also excited to get an email from Alan Doyle’s fan newsletter that he is coming to Cranbrook in February and I get advance sales tomorrow morning. Our whole dang family will likely go, so far 7 for sure. I will see how much the ticket prices are to confirm the kids. I made it into work in a most excellent mood, got a lot of work done and then headed to The Brick to test sit on couches and chairs. I am undecided whether I ultimately want a love seat or a Cuddler chair. For now I will have my two chairs in the living room as Rae is going to take my couch. It is super sturdy and they can wear it out before they get one when the boys are older and more respectful of the furniture. I think I don’t want to go cheap as it may be my last couch. I like trying out furniture. I know that when I find the right one, I will know. I have a two forerunners at the moment.
