11-21-23 Meetings, meetings and more meetings
I didn’t sleep especially well so I took some time to relax with coffee in the morning. It felt like today was one meeting after the other (because it was!)
Ran payroll, had a client in office for a few hours of training and setting up books properly, off to Key City for a budget meeting, back to the office to meet Brenda dropping off the Serger so I can try it again, followed by a Board meeting and then food and bevies at Boston Pizza.
Each meeting was interesting in its own way, I asked questions, offered solutions and opinions. Some were taken well, some were not but I do know that someone who professes to speak his truth should be able to hear someone else’s without getting all defensive. It will be interesting going forward, but I am open to the experience for now.
I hope to have a better sleep tomorrow and take on another day of all things necessary.
