02-27-26 Rotary Rocks
My alarm woke me out of a dead sleep as it had taken me a long time to finally get to sleep comfortably. I was barely able to talk in. My chest is all congested from the bile burn. It left me very weary all day and withdrawn, which a lot of people noticed.
I did go up to Columbo Lodge for noon and meet with our decorating committee. Sioux and I then went to Sandor rentals so I could show her the things that we had picked out and we could take more measurements. We made a plan to make a flower wall for behind the speakers podium.
Once back at the office, I got a good amount of work done before heading over to Kootenay I door golf for the Rotary rocks, social event that Judy had organized. I played in the pool tournament and did fairly well. It was fun. I did have a gin and tonic, and it helped my throat a good deal. I wish I had thought about that last night.
Next step was 8 o’clock at Landon‘s for poker night. I ended up about halfway through the pack. It only cost me $20 for an evening of fun although I am so very tired.
